WARMING TEA - 100% ORGANIC

This combination of herbs has been created to help eliminate toxins through the skin and to help move the heat of a fever out of the body.  Fever heat is moved to the periphery of the body through a process of diaphoresis.  Circulation is stimulated, pores are opened, and fever is released through sweating.

Catnip Leaf & Flower - assists in opening the pores of the skin to aid diaphoresis.

Peppermint Leaf - both cools and heats the body helping to cool the effect of fever and warm away the chills.

Hyssop Herb - To quote Matthew Wood in his book The Earthwise Herbal, A Complete Guide to Old World Medicinal Plants:  "Hyssop . . . will be deeply penetrating, opening pores and passageways deep inside the body, as well as in the skin, releasing heat through the skin, bringing cooling, lubricating, cleansing fluids into interior organs, dredging blood and fluids to remove heat and congestion, bringing pathogenic heat to the surface and out through the skin."  Hyssop herb is also indicated for continued fever that weakens and slows our movements.

Melissa Herb (Lemon Balm) - is a nervine herb and as such, helps when fever is accompanied by nervousness.

Lemon Verbena Leaf  - is an herb that helps reduce fever (antipyretic).

Elder Flower  - promotes diaphoresis.

Ginger Root - is warming so not only helps ease the chills that come with fever but also assists in reducing body aches.

Safflower Flower - aids in cleansing the blood, stimulating blood flow toward the surface to detox fevers, and in regulating perspiration.

Yarrow Flower - opens the skin to the circulation, releases the heat of fever, and promotes perspiration.
