Supporting us through a host of conditions and illnesses (including: cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, anxiety, nervous exhaustion, insomnia, perimenopause, and fibromyalgia), Ashwagandha Root is an ally to lean on as we encounter the challenges of daily living.
Avoid if allergic to members of the Solanaceae family (nightshades). Avoid during pregnancy. Avoid with hyperthyroidism. May increase the effect of barbiturates. Large doses may cause vomiting and diarrhea. Do not use the powdered version of this herb if you suffer excess iron.
