QUESTION: Please let me know if there are any oils that can be diffused in a room to keep mosquitoes at bay.
ANSWER: Here is a list of essential oils I have read mentioned by various authors to repel insects: Basil, Bergamot, Black Pepper, Cajeput, Cedarwood, Cinnamon, Clove, Cypress, Eucalyptus, Fennel, Frankincense, Geranium, Juniper, Lavender, Lemon, Lemongrass, Myrrh, Niaouli, Patchouli, Pennyroyal, Peppermint, Pine, Rosemary, Rosewood, Sage, Sandalwood, Tagette, Tea Tree and Thyme. I'm not so sure about all these listed oils but I have had personal success using Basil, Cajeput, Eucalyptus, Lemongrass, Peppermint & Pine.
