Years ago, after paying several companies (large & small) a considerable sum to actually fail to provide us with the website we envisioned and a shopping cart capable of handling our extensive catalog I decided to do it myself. I found it interesting and enjoyable to create the site and grow it and watch it become very successful.

Gateway Brass Quintet

Next, I made a site for the brass quintet I play with.

That site pays for itself with the increased business it brings to the group. There are music clips and now video clips on the site.

St. Louis Brass Quintet

Even in Hong Kong we knew of the St. Louis Brass Quintet, led by the indefatigable Mel Jernigan. Who knew that years later I would actually be sitting next to Mel in the St. Louis Symphony and later play in the local version of the St. Louis Brass Quintet? Who knew that by then my old high school buddy, Ray Sasaki would be playing trumpet with them? Who knew that Mel would ask me to make them a website?

Mariachi Los Compadres

Our friend Robert Souza, who is the trumpet player in the Gateway Brass also plays in St. Louis' only professional full-time mariachi band. They already had a pretty cool website but it was fun to help them spruce it up a bit. The backgrounds are photos I took of the murals at El Pisano where they regularly perform. I also made a series of videos (recorded live at Cheryl's Herbs) for them which appear on the site.
