Jeff's Websites
Years ago, after paying several companies (large & small) a considerable sum to actually fail to provide us with the website we envisioned and a shopping cart capable of handling our extensive catalog I decided to do it myself. I found it interesting and enjoyable to create the site and grow it and watch it become very successful. Next, I made a site for the brass quintet I play with. That site pays for itself with the increased business it brings to the group. There are music clips and now video clips on the site. When our friend Dan Steven's needed help to save (from developers) and restore the historic Ozark theater in Webster Groves, I chipped in with a site which helped get the word out. Today the restoration continues and we look forward to the rebirth of the Ozark Theater as a much needed performance venue in that area. Even in Hong Kong we knew of the St. Louis Brass Quintet, led by the indefatigable Mel Jernigan. Who knew that years later I would actually be sitting next to Mel in the St. Louis Symphony and later play in the local version of the St. Louis Brass Quintet? Who knew that by then my old high school buddy, Ray Sasaki would be playing trumpet with them? Who knew that Mel would ask me to make them a website? Centerpiece Musical Entertainment in St. Louis. Ed knows Dan and liked his site...
