Cheryl’s Herbs Discovery Group Night.

Open to the public. Cheryl will share her thoughts on what is recommended by the most respected herbal authorities. Many people have great success managing diabetes using natural remedies. Bilberry, Gymnema, Cinnamon, Fenugreek & Ginseng are some of the herbs to be discussed. Cheryl will give practical tips on usage and also information on managing accompanying conditions common to diabetics. This is a group discussion so bring your questions and join in with your thoughts and ideas. Held at Cheryl's Herbs.

AROMATHERAPY CERTIFICATION COURSE

We are pleased to announce that Cheryl's Herbs sponsors a 40-hour Aromatherapy Certification Course.

 

Live classes, held at Cheryl's Herbs, are scheduled throughout the year and a Distance Learning Program is also available all year.

CEUs are available for massage therapists.

The class, Aroma 101: Foundations is offered by

(formerly Northwest College)

and will be taught by Cheryl Hoard.

Cost is $425, which includes a set of 20 essential oils (2 ml size) and study manual.

DISTANCE LEARNING PROGRAM

For those interested in doing study on an independent basis, the The East-West School for Herbal and Aromatic Studies (formerly Northwest College) provides this opportunity through a forty-hour course, which is thirty hours study time and ten hours doing case studies. Each student is provided with a course manual and the 20 essential oils studied in the course. Assistance is available through scheduled phone consultations with Cheryl Hoard. Students are encouraged to complete two blending projects, five case studies must be submitted and the student must pass a written exam offered at the end of the course. Course must be completed in six months. Cheryl's Herbs offers support and assistance by extending a 10% discount off all products at the shop or by mail order during the period of study. Course Fee: $425 payable in advance, includes manual and set of 20 Essential Oils.

 

AROMATHERAPY INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS

$30 fee for 1 hour individual aromatherapy sessions.

Optional $5 additional fee for making a 1 oz blend to take with you.

You can attend a class with a group of like-minded adults

or sign up for an individual session about a topic of your choice.

Topics may range from an introduction to aromatherapy to the chemistry of essential oils or just something fun like how to make bath salts, body blends, natural perfume and skin care products. You may choose a health topic of interest to you like depression, anxiety, colds & flu, stress etc. We can also assist with research projects. For a small additional fee, sessions may also include making a blend for you to take home!
