Jeff's Garden behind the shop is in full growth with all the rain we've had lately. In the garden we have Missouri Evening Primrose, Mullein, Rattlesnake Master, Parsley, Cardinal Flower, New England Aster, Purslane, Prairie Blazing Star, Comfrey, Melissa, Echinacea, Red Clover, Dandelion, Sage, Lambs-quarter, Lavender, Thyme and Daisies. You can stroll up through the Sierra Club's Native Garden to see even more! Our neighbor and Flower-Angel, Tina has adorned the front boxes with a vast array of beautiful color. We are ready for Summer!

SACRAL CHAKRA BALANCING This
is the second in a series of classes that will focus on essential oils for each
Chakra individually for 7 consecutive months. Each class will begin with a
grounding session and end with a meditation focusing on the chakra discussed.
Wear comfortable clothing, shoes that can be removed for the grounding,
and a pad, blanket or rug for the floor. If
you already attended Kathy’s 3 hour workshop on the Major Chakras and have the
7 oils and 7 stones from the workshop bring them with you. If you did not attend
the workshop, the oils and stones for each chakra will be available for you to

Cheryl will explain several easy ways to use the plants you grow. If the weather permits, Cheryl will guide the class through the small Sierra Club Native Plant Garden next to Cheryl’s Herbs. Participants will be able to view a few of the plants included in the class as well as other handsome Missouri natives. Cheryl’s Herbs will supply natural bug spray but bring your own if you want another kind. Cheryl will also introduce the Cheryl’s Herbs Native Collection, herbal products designed to encourage the cultivation and preservation of American native plant species.
