Maria's Corner

Used to be, in the back of the store, just past the shelf marked "Strange and Wonderful Items of Unusual Interest" (where you were sure to see something you never saw before) was Maria’s Corner. Now, due to restraints of space, Maria's corner exists only in cyberspace. Here you will find products selected by our Production Manager, Maria Roderick which reflect the needs of the season, a special holiday or just Maria’s whim. The savvy shopper checks this spot on every visit knowing that Maria changes her display often.

Red Sage Classical Chinese Herbal Formulas

DRAGON GALLBLADDER NOSEPOOL
(Long Dan Bi Yuan Fang)

Specially blended for head, shao yang and lower jiao damp heat, this aromatic bitter formula can be used for sinuses, ears, allergies, colds, yeast infections, diarrhea, urinary tract infection, stomachache, and gallbladder attack.

Contains extracted and decocted Long Dan Cao, Huang Qin, Zhi Zi, Xia Ku Cao, Yu Xing Cao, Yu Hua, Bai Zhi, Cang Er Zi, Xin Yi Hua, Huo Xiang, Yi Yi Ren, Jie Geng, grain alcohol (~18% by volume), distilled water and vegetable glycerin.

WEIGHT LOSS
This traditional formula, made with Si Jun Zi Tang plus seaweed, bitter orange, green tea and maitake mushroom, strengthens the GI tract, improving food’s absorption and assimilation by the body. This in turn improves energy and lowers fat storage. Also contains low-toxicity antioxidant, adaptagenic herbs that have a proven ‘side effect’ of weight loss!

Contains extracted and decocted Zhi Ke, Dang Shen, Bai Zhu, Fu Ling, Hai Zao, Gan Cao, Maitake, Green Tea, grain alcohol (~18% by volume), distilled water and vegetable glycerin.

So nice for the skin and such a helpful aid to tissue and bones. Great as a lip balm also! Contains the e"This has always been my favorite Cheryl's Herbs balm. I use it to heal really chapped and small cuts and cracks on my hands. It works fast."

RATTLESNAKE MASTER BALM
One of Cheryl's Herbs Native Collection - herbal products designed to encourage the cultivation and preservation of American native plant species. Contains the essential oils of Fir (Silver), Cajeput, Frankincense, Nutmeg, Peppermint, Cedarwood (Atlas), Lavender, wild in a base of Echinacea Purpurea Leaf & Flower and Rattlesnake Master Root infused into Sunflower & Vitamin E Oils and unbleached Missouri Beeswax. Soothing formula of completely natural, historic ingredients. Soothing for muscles, joints and the respiratory system. Traditionally also applied to temples or forehead for promoting comfort in head areas. Excellent product for insect activity, outdoor recreation, sports and traveling. "I use this at the first sign of muscle or joint aches. Usually I feel fine the next day. The essential oil combination in this balm has a very pleasing scent and is extremely useful for respiratory problems. I like it as a chest rub for really bad congestion."
