CATNIP SUMMER MIXTURE

Herbs has reformulated its summer products
to
contain Catnip Essential Oil.
We are very pleased to be able to offer an alternative to Citronella Essential Oil products because it has been an increasing concern of ours that Citronella is actually a moderately sensitizing essential oil. Sensitization is an allergic reaction that doesn’t always appear after initial use of that essential oil. A reaction can appear at a much later date after repeated uses, appearing on the body even in places where the essential oil was never applied. Because of the insidiousness of this reaction compounded with our observation of more incidences of people becoming sensitive to chemical and natural substances, we are happy to offer an alternative to Citronella Essential Oil.

Essential Oils Pre-Mixed for Your Convenience
Contains the essential
oils of Catnip (80-90% Nepetalactone) Nepeta
cateria, naturally farmed and Peppermint
Mentha piperita, naturally farmed. Avoid when pregnant, lactating,
not recommended for babies, possibly skin irritating, avoid on damaged skin. Not
for internal use.
Directions:
People - Drops may be sprinkled on bottom of pant legs, top of socks
or anywhere on clothing. For applying to the skin, these essential oils need to
be diluted into a vegetable oil, aloe gel/juice, or hydrosol. Aloe juice or
hydrosol can be used in a spray bottle. Use 13 drops to 1 OZ of any liquid for
use on adults, older children and pets. Not recommended for babies.
Pets - Drops may be sprinkled on bedding and around pet areas. A few
drops may be placed in the hand and rubbed into pet's coat. Drops may also be
placed on collar.
Household - Drops may be sprinkled on floor, in corners, around
trash cans and added to wash water. Fragrance the air by using this pure
essential oil mixture in an aromatherapy diffuser or in 3/4 inch water in a
potpourri pot. To make a surface or air spray, add at least 30 drops to every
ounce of water or alcohol. Shake well in a spray bottle before each use. Do not
store this product in plastic for long periods of time.

Spray liberally on exposed
skin, and clothes. Avoid getting in eyes when spraying face or hair. Can be
